JAU respects your creative identity, your process and your pace.
We do not believe artists should have to change their work simply to fit a market. Instead, we work together to find thoughtful ways to introduce each artist’s work to new audiences.
A crowdfunding launch may be the beginning, but it is not the end of the relationship. When a project finds an audience, our goal is to continue supporting future releases, new works and long-term opportunities through JAU.
We aim to build relationships in which artists can focus on creating while JAU helps with presentation, market development, communication and cross-border opportunities.
JAUは、アーティスト一人ひとりの表現、制作方法、そして制作ペースを尊重します。
市場に合わせるために、作品そのものを無理に変えることを求めません。
作品と作家の背景を理解し、その魅力を保ったまま新しい人々へ届ける方法を一緒に考えます。
クラウドファンディングは、関係のゴールではなく始まりの一つです。
そこで新しい市場との出会いが生まれた場合、JAUはその後の新 作や限定作品、継続販売などを通じて、長期的な関係を築いていきたいと考えています。
アーティストが創作に集中し、JAUが作品の見せ方、市場づくり、コミュニケーション、国内外への展開を支える。

We are looking for distinctive artists and makers interested in exploring new audiences with Japan Art Unseen.
Whether you are based in Japan or overseas, we welcome proposals from independent creators working across art, craft, ceramics, sculpture, design and related fields.
